The Arizona Office of Tourism wanted to boost awareness and consideration among travelers from New York and Chicago during the cold winter months. So, we set about the task of creating a campaign that would not only boost awareness of and intent to visit Arizona, but an idea that would also deliver a little sunshine where it was needed the most.
The campaign was led by a hero launch video, localized and distributed via digital strategy to each metro area.
Then over the course of three weeks, we responded to the social conversation in real-time with "sunshine" in the form of personalized replies, lighthearted jokes and select Arizona gifts to anyone complaining about the cold. For instance: a free coffee delivery via Doordash, a fresh bouquet of Arizona wildflowers, spring training tickets and even a few airfare vouchers and resort stays. #sunshinetoshare
